Join Hayy Cinema this May for a programme that celebrates contemporary Arab voices and cinematic classics through a rich and varied selection.
The lineup features the critically acclaimed Jordanian film Sink (2025), which offers an authentic portrayal of mental illness, alongside the award-winning Cairo Film Festival title Spring Came on Laughing (2025), presenting four immersive stories of Egyptian women. In celebration of a landmark moment in film history, the programme also includes a special 30th anniversary screening of the iconic Goodfellas (1990), inviting audiences to revisit a defining and much-loved work of cinema. French cinema lovers can also join our monthly French Cinema Club, Rendez-vous with French Cinema, featuring Sirocco and the Kingdom of the Winds (2023). The film follows Juliette and Carmen, two daring sisters who discover a gateway into their favourite book and become trapped inside its universe.
