About the Programme
The Art Jameel Internship Programme is built on a structured, task-based framework designed to ensure that your time with us actively serves your professional growth while meeting critical academic standards. Moving past passive observation, this program focuses on giving you authentic institutional memory, practical industry tools, and real operational accountability.
Programme Structure & Flexibility
We recognize that balancing university classes, exams, and professional development requires flexibility. Rather than a rigid calendar, this internship is driven entirely by your total logged hours and academic availability:
-
Customized Scheduling: Successful applicants will co-create a personalized weekly schedule with the Jameel Arts Centre team to seamlessly accommodate class schedules and existing academic obligations.
-
Daily & Weekly Caps: To protect your time, workdays are capped at a maximum of 6 hours. The maximum weekly commitment is 4.5 days, with the half workday capped at 4 hours.
-
Program Duration: The timeline can stretch or contract depending on your weekly availability. However, the program cannot accommodate any commitment that spans over a duration of 6 months.
-
Structured Touchpoints: The intern is supported through 15-minute daily morning check-ins and 30-minute weekly wrap-up progress reports with the assigned team, alongside formal 45-minute strategic reviews with the Team Lead every three weeks.
