The programme is open and free for all.

For arts and culture lovers, enrich your mind, body and soul with interactive workshops, open sessions and film screenings on heritage, living traditions and craft, board games and storytelling activities for children and adults alike

For shopping enthusiasts, explore Hayy Markets and pop-up bazaars highlighting local and regional brands, supporting creatives, artisans, designers and entrepreneurs inspired by shared traditions and craftsmanship

For foodies, enjoy a selection of local and Ramadan essential snacks, treats and refreshments from Hayy Residents Aysh Academy and Sofia’s Bistro along with an array of vendors

The Arab Regional Centre for World Heritage and the Heritage Commission in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in collaboration with the UNESCO Chair for World Heritage and Sustainable Tourism management in the Arab Region, presents “My Heritage”, a series of short films that shed light on traditional handicrafts, the relationship of local communities to the site, crafts and memories related to it, the cultural practices associated with the site, and the relationship of young people to the site at the present time.

Taking its title from a poem by artist Seher Shah, ‘We saw an endless cycle’ speaks to the ways in which artists bear witness to the city and brings together works by artists whose practices closely engage with the city through intimate gestures.
