A tale of despair and redemption in 1980s Egypt

The Breakdown (1982): Sami, whose wife Madiha accidentally kills a bystander while driving her car, claims to be the culprit to clear his wife. After he discovers Madiha has betrayed him, Sami retracts his words, but to no avail, and is sentenced to jail for three years. After he gets out, he decides to take revenge on his wife, lover, and the judge who sentenced him.
