This closing chapter of the summer thematic at Explorers brings whimsy and play into action as we imagine collaborative games and unravel narratives through movement and making. Steampunky ideas of mechanisms, automata, old and new technology are explored through hands-on tinkering and experimentation.
The closing weekend at Explorers features story telling and reading by Alliance Française, making sessions that include map-making, hands on problem solving and woodworking by Civ:Lab.

Learning from the way that Idrissi mapped his cartographic studies about the world, kids will use problem solving and recreate such maps on a spiral. This session is led by Civilization Lab, and it involves hands-on woodworking to create the final outcomes.
