* Completion of the Foundations of Woodworking Course (Level 1) or equivalent prior woodworking experience is required.

- Use Jigs and modify machine cuts.
- Introduction to chisels and carving.
- Plan and lay out a design before cutting and execution.

Ahmad Sofi (b. 1993) is a Jeddah-born craftsman passionate about keeping the tradition of handmade work alive. His background is a rare blend of technical and artistic training. He holds a degree in Civil Engineering and a Master of Fine Arts in Oil Painting from the Glasgow School of Art (2023), complemented by woodworking studies at the University of San Francisco in 2015. Ahmad brings deep knowledge of wood materials and techniques to every piece he creates — guided by the belief that great craft sits at the intersection of structure and beauty.
