The Rabyah Reading Project and Hayy Explorers will be holding a reading session for 6-9 year olds about the Muslim Scholar Ibn Al Haytham and his inventions in mathematics and science, with a focus on vision and light inspired by his famous Book of Optics. The Rabyah reading project is an Arabic language led programme, with an objective to develop children’s emotional & cognitive skills through reading and play.

The session will be divided into three parts: Reading, a playful activity followed by making a pinhole camera. Hayy explorers team  member’s will be supervising throughout the duration of the session, while the workshop will be led by The Rabyah team.
