Pathways for submission: 

– Drawing & Painting
Submissions can include pencil sketches, charcoal drawings, watercolor paintings, oil or acrylic artworks.

– ٍSculptures & Mixed Media
This pathway encompasses sculptures in clay, metal, wood, or other materials, as well as mixed media artworks that blend textures, objects, or unconventional mediums into a cohesive piece

– Photography & Audio-Visual
Submissions might feature photography series, video art, or creative audio-visual installations that incorporate sound, projection, or motion.

Award Details: 
Five applicants will be selected from each pathway. The 15 shortlisted artists will then be invited to partake in an intensive bootcamp at Hayy Jameel, which includes interventions from artists, curators, educators, and behind-the-scenes insights into Art Jameel’s exhibition making process. The shortlisted artworks will then be presented in a showcase at Hayy Jameel, where 1 artwork per pathway will be awarded a prize, additional to a Special Jury Award and Sustainability Award.
