Hayy Cinema October 2025 Programme

Join us this October at Hayy Cinema as we present a diverse and thought-provoking lineup of films spanning cultures, genres, and decades. From fresh releases to modern classics, each title offers a unique cinematic experience and invites deeper reflection on the world around us.

Among the highlights is No Other Land (2024), a personal portrait of life under occupation that captures the daily realities faced by a Palestinian community in Masafer Yatta as they resist displacement. Filmed by those living the experience, it powerfully demonstrates the importance of storytelling and self-representation.

Also featured is Rabbit Trap (2025), a new psychological horror that promises an unsettling dive into fear and the human psyche. La Haine (1995), the critically acclaimed French drama, returns to the screen with its raw portrayal of urban unrest and social inequality in the Parisian suburbs. Finally, Martin Scorsese’s Mean Streets (1973) offers a gritty exploration of crime and morality in New York’s Little Italy.
