Hayy Jameel is pleased to announce the jury members for the inaugural JYL Art Award, a new initiative dedicated to supporting and celebrating young artists across Saudi Arabia. Designed for creatives aged 15 – 18, the award offers a pathway for emerging talents to develop their artistic voice through a four-day bootcamp, 1:1 mentorship sessions, and a final public showcase at Hayy Jameel.
As part of this year’s cycle, the JYL Award invited applicants to submit work across three pathways: Drawing & Painting, Sculpture & Mixed Media, and Photography & Audio-Visual. Following a careful review of the submissions, the jury has now selected 15 finalists – five participants per pathway – who will advance to the next stage of the programme.
This selection marks an important milestone in the award’s journey, and we are grateful to the jury members for their thoughtful deliberation and commitment to nurturing the next generation of artists.
