Join us for an evening with the band ADIGA, a Sudanese trio based in Dubai, as they bring their unique blend of Sudanese music fusion to the stage. Formed in 2016, ADIGA has been on a musical journey to revive and reinvent Sudanese heritage, combining traditional sounds with modern experimentation to create a fresh and dynamic sound. Drawing from influences as diverse as Sudanese folk music, hip-hop, funk, and neo-soul, their sound is a bridge between the past and present, infused with the soulful rhythms of Sudan and global musical trends.
The performance will be followed by a conversation and Q&A with the band members:
- Hassan Aljaily is the Sudanese musician, producer and the creative visionary behind ADIGA, whose passion for Sudan’s musical roots fuels his boundary-pushing artistry.
- Ibrahim Altijani, co-founder ADIGA, is a guitarist bringing his musical training and deep connection to Sudanese and Western genres to the band’s experimental approach.
- Sidahmed Zaki, bandmember of ADIGA, is known for mastering both guitar and keyboard and showcasing his diverse musical experiences with every performance.
