Drumming is one of humanity’s oldest forms of collective expression, a universal language rooted in rhythm, movement, and connection. Across cultures, rhythmic practices have long been used to bring people together, create shared experiences, and foster a sense of belonging.
Join us for the second Hayy Sounds Drumming Circle with Saif Halal, a facilitator of restorative sound and breathwork, alongside local percussionist Mohammed Hassan. Through guided rhythms, listening exercises, and collective improvisation, participants will be invited to explore sound as a way of connecting with themselves and others.
Drumming circles offer a space for presence, creativity, and community building. They have been explored as practices that can support:
- Reducing stress and promoting relaxation
- Emotional expression and release
- Enhancing mood and energy
- Developing focus and mindfulness
- Encouraging collaboration and non-verbal communication
Whether you are new to music or have experience with rhythm and percussion, this session welcomes everyone to discover the joy of making sound together.
Free and open to all – no musical experience required.
No registration required -attendance is on a first-come, first-served basis.
