Join us this Saturday for a storytelling session of صيّاد السمك by بسّام التّاجي followed by an activities using alternative printmaking methods. Throughout this session, we will learn about the colorful varieties of fishes in the Red Sea.

January at Hayy Explorers starts as we collectively knot and create an installation that highlights the diversity of the Red Sea Coast. The month circles around the installation as we explore an ecology or part of the sea each week; from fishermen, coral reefs, sea life, and the cultures around our coasts. Inspired by the book الحياة على ضفاف النهر by Rambharos Jha, the thematic begins with its reading and an understanding of ecologies within the Red Sea and life and movement along its coast.
