Maps of Idrissi on Flying Mechanisms – A Making Session with Civ:Lab
Join Civilization Lab this Saturday, October 26 in an innovative map-making and woodworking session where ideas of Idrissi and his map-making will be studied.
The session will move through map-making to early flying mechanisms as an invention, where using woodworking and measurement techniques, children will super-impose their created map on a wooden screw mechanism. This session encourages hands-on experimentation, critical thinking and problem solving.
