At the market, meet, connect with, and shop from local farmers, producers and vendors committed to sustainability, healthy living and biodiversity.

Beyond the market, explore a diverse programme of youth activities, creative workshops, offerings by the Hayy Residents, in addition to the running Hayy Arts exhibitions.

Discover, experiment and play in a hands-on space across three different guided stations,  introducing children to the date palm, its cultural significance and ways they can be used based on the type of date, its textures, colours and flavours.

Reading Circle: Once Upon a Time 

In this family-focussed reading circle, listen to stories inspired by dates, palm trees and the landscape, selected from the Jameel Library’s collection taking readers on a journey through gardens, markets, farms and the natural environment

Stories include: The Olive Tree and the Digger, What Is Climate Change? and The Dreams of Barhi, Sukari, Khalas and Ajwa
