- Screenwriters group: We are looking for passionate uprising screenwriters to be part of our first scriptwriting workshop organized by That Studio and Hayy Cinema, that will take place in Jeddah, at Hayy Cinema on 17 & 18 May 2024, supervised by the talented screenwriter Hani Kadour. - Actors group: We are looking for passionate uprising actors who are interested to be part of our first acting workshop organized by “That Studio” and “Hayy Cinema” on 2 consecutive weekends 24 & 25 May and 31 May & 1 June 2024, supervised by the talented actor “Ismaeel AlHasan” and the amazing director Ali Alattas. About the mentors
Hani Ka’adour
Writer/Director known for having written both Alhamour H.A. and Shams Al Ma’arif (Also known as Book of the Sun) two of the most acclaimed and commercially successful Saudi films to date. Prior to his work in films, Hani pioneered online scripted content at UTURN as a writer on the hit show Takki, which was later bought by Netflix.
Ismaeel AlHasan
Ismail Al-Hassan is an actor, stand-up comedian, and writer began his career in 2014 by practicing several theatrical arts at “the Comedy Club” in Jeddah, He participated in writing several films and series, including the 2016 series “Bakhshish” the movie “Al-Hammour H.A.”
As an actor, he was part of many successful Saudi films, such as “Shams Al-Ma’aref” 2020, Al-Khalat+ 2022, and “Al-Hammour H.A.” 2023 And “Yesterday After Tomorrow” 2024.
Ali Attas born in 1989 in Saudi Arabia, moved from biotechnology to filmmaking in 2010. He became a central figure in the field after his work for the YouTube network UTURN. Among his works, he contributed to the series “Pending Investigation ” on Shahid and the series “Crashing Eid” on Netflix, which ranked in the top ten in more than 25 countries. His film (written by him) ‘When Will I Sleep?’ won the Golden Palm at the Saudi Film Festival.
