Grab your sunscreen and your paint brushes, The Young Explorers Club is back for the second summer at Hayy Jameel! Join us as we learn how to experience the world through different lenses and discover new ways of creating art through observation, play, critical linking and team work. 

This edition of the summer camp focuses on exploration and experimentation, and includes interventions by artist Tala Qari, where she takes us through her artistic process. Exploratory exercises and findings from working with mediums such as light, sound, paper, and fabric will be showcased in a small exhibit at the end of the week. It also includes activities inspired by the Hayy Arts Exhibition ‘Silent Hands’, as well as an independent film with relevant ideas to the camp being screened at Hayy Cinema. 

The Young Explorers Club is developed by artist, educator, and Art Jameel member, Sahrish Ali. This programme is part of continuing Hayy Jameel’s commitment to fostering arts education, across all ages. Learn more about the upcoming Hayy Explorers children’s maker space launching Fall 2023.
