Embark on a five-day creative journey exploring street art in Jeddah. This programme offers a unique opportunity to explore diverse artistic mediums that document urban life. Participants will get the chance to document and record elements of Jeddah they wish to preserve, culminating in the creation of a collaborative graffiti wall—brought to life under the guidance of professional artist The Azee
Highlights include a tour of Hayy Arts’ latest exhibition, ‘We saw an endless cycle’, short film screenings in Hayy Cinema and hands-on graffiti workshops.
Who is this camp for?
For teens ages 14-18 years old who want to deepen their connection to Jeddah’s street art culture and learn how to make real graffiti artwork. (Max capacity: 8 participants)

Learning objectives:
- Understand various artistic methods for documenting and interpreting urban life.
- Analyze and reflect on personal connections to the city through memory and observation.
- Collaborate with peers to create cohesive and meaningful artworks.
- Gain practical skills in graffiti and spray painting under the guidance of an experienced artist.
- Develop live painting skills and build confidence to perform in front of an audience.
Camp schedule overview:
Day 1 | Artistic methods for documenting: Exploring artistic perspectives on urban life. Tour of Hayy Arts exhibitions, ‘We saw an endless cycle’ and a screening of short films in Hayy Cinema.
Day 2 | Memories and collaboration: Participants will form collaborative groups based on shared themes and elements, and finalize the first draft of their unified artwork.
Day 3 | Design and graffiti as a practice: They will learn about graffiti’s role in urban documentation and refine their designs with the guidance of graffiti artist The Azee, and collaboratively transfer their artwork on a large-scale wall.
Day 4 | Practice and preparation: Participants will refine their spray-painting techniques, finalize their designs, and prepare to confidently present their artwork to an audience.
Day 5 | Live painting: Participants will bring their vision to life by continuing spray painting in front of an audience, followed by closing reflections and a celebration of their achievements.
