ABOUT THE COMMISSIONED ARTWORK

“Time has its rattle and upheaval… It can shake mountains even if they’re anchored”

– Khlaed Faisal

The term “to move mountains” is an act that is always romanticized. To do something that seems impossible, particularly when love or a certain belief makes you feel determined to succeed and to achieve it. Many throughout this era are expected to move mountains, to create change; to push beyond the boundaries and build new futures.

The work moving mountains encapsulates this time. A time of change and collective action.

The work forces you to question your role within this process of transition and how your actions today will affect generations to come.

What mountains are you moving to get where you want to be?
