In anticipation of Hayy Explorers launch in 2023, Art Jameel is collaborating with Yajoob to present The Maze of Curiosity, a two-month children’s programme anchored around a thought-provoking and interactive installation celebrating children’s innate sense of wonder and curiosity.

About The Panelists

Dr. Heba Hariri is a psychologist and assistant professor at University of Jeddah. She holds a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from Howard University, and she received her master’s degree in School Psychology and Counseling Services from Howard University. Dr. Hariri published two books (Making Life Stars)and (How to Talk About Sex To Your Children). She has designed many Psycho-educational programs for children and caregivers. Dr. Hariri also provided over 4,000 counseling hours in several centers.

Maria Alem is Learning manager at Hayy Jameel, cultivating a culture of life-long learning within all aspects of Hayy, from arranging school visits to designing learning kits to organizing public workshops.

Rafah Sahab and Rola Badkook are the co-founders of RPS studios and Yajoob, a platform and a startup that supports kids and their portents in their journey to discover the world in a fresh and new way that is aligned with children’s nature.

Norhan Alshini is an Architect, urban designer, and urban researcher. she received her master’s degree in Urban Design from Effat University. She holds her bachelor’s degree in Architecture. Norhan has years of experience in the field of restoration and preservation of urban heritage. She is also interested in the relationship of Open or public spaces and place making.

Noura Ghabra is a Sustainable Architecture Consultant and Assistant Professor at King Abdulaziz University in Jeddah, and a consultant in the documentation and evaluation of historical buildings in the Historic Jeddah District. She is particularly interested in environmental design strategies focusing on different aspects of sustainability involving energy efficiency and user comfort and has several peer-reviewed publications on those topics.
