Job Description:
Art Jameel is looking for a full-time People Assistant who is highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive and efficient to join the team. You will play a vital role in managing the day-to-day HR operations and ensuring the smooth functioning of various HR processes. The successful candidate will provide administrative and operational support to the People’s department.

The Human Resource Assistant reports to the HR Coordinator
Responsibilities and duties
- Performing end-to-end recruitment process, including posting job ads, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews .
- Assist with administrative tasks such as onboarding and orientation for new employees, maintaining employee records, and updating HR databases
- Handle confidential information with sensitivity, and proficient in using HR software and other systems.
- Managing and administering employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and other perks, while ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
- Act as a liaison between government offices and Hayy Jameel in delivering and receiving official letters and parcels issued to/from government offices such as the Department of Passports, GOSI, and MOFA.
- Follow up on the compilation and the renewal of official government related documents.
- Coordinating employee training and development initiatives, including organising workshops, online courses, or other learning opportunities to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
- Assist with HR-related events and initiatives
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Draft and proofread HR-related documents such as agreements, official government letters, and HR policies in both, Arabic and English
- Staying up-to-date with employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance and providing guidance and assistance to managers and employees on HR-related matters.
- Proactively identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing best practices to enhance HR operations efficiency.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the line Manager
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in HR or a related field, or equivalent work experience of minimum 2-3 years.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal in both Arabic and English language.
- Strong organisational skills in prioritising tasks to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
- Proficiency in MS Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and G-suite
- Knowledge of HR policies and regulations, also local government policies and regulations is preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and data management.
- Proactive problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify process gaps and propose effective solutions.
- Experience using government-specific systems/platforms is a plus.
Conditions of Work
- This is a full-time position based in Jeddah, KSA.
- All members of the Art Jameel team take shifts on the Welcome Desk (at least 1 day every 2-3 weeks)
- Occasional weekend and evening work according to workload is also required
