Assistant Manager Finance

The Assistant Manager Finance supports financial operations, reporting, and compliance while overseeing sales-related processes across Hayy (Cinema, events, venue hires, and retail). The role ensures strong financial controls, accurate reconciliations, compliance with KSA regulations (including ZATCA e-invoicing), and timely reporting in coordination with the Finance Manager.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Operations & Controls

  • Manage accounts receivable and payable, including aging, reconciliations, and collections
  • Oversee daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations (bank, POS, inventory, intercompany)
  • Supervise sales processes, invoicing, and POS compliance with ZATCA regulations
  • Monitor credit card collections, refunds, and revenue tracking across Hayy activities
  • Maintain control over fixed assets, inventory, and cash counts

Reporting & Compliance

  • Support monthly and annual closing and preparation of financial statements.
  • Prepare and review trial balance schedules (prepayments, receivables, CAPEX, etc.)
  • Ensure compliance with IFRS and KSA tax regulations (VAT, WHT, Zakat)
  • Liaise with ZATCA and other authorities on tax and regulatory matters
  • Prepare tax returns, VAT reconciliations, and audit schedules
  • Assist in external audits (interim & annual)

 Treasury & Process Management

  • Support cash flow management and payment planning
  • Prepare & Review payment vouchers and purchase orders (as per authority limits)
  • Ensure ERP (D365 or similar) integrity and automation of finance processes
  • Drive continuous improvement (process optimization and automation)
  • Manage insurance renewals and financial documentation

Planning & Analysis

  • Assist in budget preparation, forecasting, and variance analysis
  • Identify and report financial discrepancies, risks, and improvement areas

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance with Professional certification (CMA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or equivalent)
  • 5–7 years’ experience in finance, accounting, or auditing (Big 4 preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of KSA tax laws (VAT, WHT, Zakat) and IFRS
  • Experience with ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics 365 must)
  • Proven experience in POS systems and sales reconciliation
  • Advanced Excel and analytical skills
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities

Conditions of Work

  • This is a full-time position based in Jeddah, KSA , with occasional travel to Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and elsewhere
  • Occasional weekend and evening work according to workload is also required
