Assistant Manager Finance
Role Overview
The Assistant Manager Finance supports finance operations, reporting, compliance, and sales-related activities across Hayy (Cinema, Events, Venue Hire, and Retail). The role requires strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (mandatory) and practical knowledge of KSA VAT, ZATCA E-Invoicing, WHT, and Zakat compliance.
The position is responsible for ensuring ERP data integrity, accurate financial reporting, regulatory compliance, strong financial controls, and continuous process improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
- Act as the key finance user for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data and transactions within the ERP
• Support month-end closing, reporting, reconciliations, and system controls through Business Central
• Drive finance process automation and continuous improvement initiatives
• Support users and troubleshoot finance-related ERP issues
Financial Operations & Compliance
- Manage AP, AR, reconciliations, and collections
• Review bank, POS, inventory, and intercompany reconciliations
• Oversee sales invoicing and ZATCA compliance across Hayy activities
• Support monthly and annual financial closing processes
• Prepare balance sheet schedules and audit support files
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, VAT, WHT, Zakat, and E-Invoicing requirements
• Prepare VAT returns, tax reconciliations, and play a key role in external audits
Treasury & Planning
- Support cash flow management and payment planning
• Review payment vouchers and purchase orders
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Identify risks, control gaps, and process improvement opportunities
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (Mandatory)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
• Professional qualification (CMA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or equivalent) preferred
• Minimum 3 years of practical experience in KSA VAT, ZATCA E-Invoicing, WHT, and Zakat compliance (Mandatory)
• 5–7 years of finance, accounting, or audit experience
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting
• Advanced Excel and analytical skills
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
Note: Candidates without Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central experience and KSA tax compliance experience will not be considered.
Conditions of Work
- This is a full-time position based in Jeddah, KSA , with occasional travel to Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and elsewhere
- Occasional weekend and evening work according to workload is also required
